ADULTS

By mid-life, most people discover that there's much more to life than just working, putting in your hours and making money. We face choices and make important decisions about jobs, kids, marriage, relationships, education and finances every day. Are you satisfied with the direction you're taking with your career and your life? Did you know that knowing your spiritual gifts, abilities, and talents can give you an understanding into your life purpose! In fact, most Christians have no idea what their spiritual gifts are, according to a nationwide survey by Barma Research Group. People need to know their gifts and abilities so that they can maximize their potential!

Ask yourself these questions:

  • Do you have job security and satisfaction in your current career?

  • If you are not currently employed, would you like to be more confident about God's plan for you, to know the right job for you and right direction for your future?

  • Have you been "successful" in your current career, but still feel that something's missing?

  • Would you like to feel more significance in your life, or to "give back" by mentoring others?

  • Are you comfortable with the decisions you're making (or will make) about your children and their future?

  • Will you leave a lasting legacy to those you care most about?

  • Do you feel God calling you into ministry, an area of volunteer activity or community work?

We can all use a little help and good advice from time to time. Even the best athletes use coaches to improve their game. God has "wired" each of us to seek significance, fulfillment and a purpose, instead of just a place to work.
